Sathish Rao Appalanaidu has been a Board Director of Yayasan Sukarelawan Siswa (YSS) / Student Volunteers Foundation, Ministry of National Unity, Malaysia since 2017. He is an academician at Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI), specialising in educational and moral psychology. With a background in youth volunteering development and education, he has contributed to improving higher education volunteering standards in Malaysia. Sathish is on the verge of completing his PhD in Educational Psychology at the University of Malaya and is actively involved as a Board Director of the International Forum for Volunteering in Development (Forum) and a member of the IVCO working group.
