Lucie Morillon has been France Volontaires’ Director of Communication, Recognition and Civic Engagement since January 2017. The department she manages is dedicated to promote the qualitative and quantitative development and recognition of international exchange and solidarity volunteering around the world. Prior to joining France Volontaires, she had devoted her career to freedom of expression as the programme manager at Reporters Without Borders (RSF). She founded RSF’s Washington DC office, directing the development of its US activities from 2004 to 2009. Having earned her degree in Contemporary History and in Public and Political Communication, she is a dedicated advocate for international solidarity and youth participation.
