Joanna Tan is a Manager, Volunteer Cooperation, at the Singapore International Foundation (SIF). Joanna leads capacity building projects, which serve as catalysts for fostering positive and sustainable development across Asia. Joanna has always held a passion for youth empowerment and education. Her journey began as a young adult when she embarked on her first volunteering experience, a Youth Expedition Project mission in Vietnam. Most recently, her volunteering journey continued in the United States, where she volunteered her time as an educator for three years. Joanna’s ultimate aspiration is to expand her outreach and advocacy work in the realm of education, focusing on those with special needs.
