


International Forum for Volunteering in Development (Forum)
The International Forum for Volunteering in Development (Forum) is the most significant global network of organisations that work with volunteers to achieve sustainable development goals. Forum exist to share information, develop good practice and enhance cooperation across the volunteering for development sector. Forum achieve this through convening, research, and standards. Forum is a “virtual network, with a global membership that includes a range of organsiations involved in development cooperation including non-government and state organisations.

Yayasan Sukarelawan Siswa (YSS)/ Student Volunteer Foundation
Yayasan Sukarelawan Siswa (YSS) was launched in 2022 as an entity owned by the Government of Malaysia through Ministry of National Unity (KPN) to growing a culture of volunteering among Malaysians. YSS positions youth volunteering as a key tool in developing student volunteer leaders. Since its inception in 2012, YSS has executed 52 high impact volunteer missions as its core programme mainly in Sabah and Sarawak of Malaysia and in several Southeast Asian countries; Indonesia, Lao PDR and Vietnam. Together with its many strategic partners, YSS also carries out community engagement projects targeting beneficiaries from the lowest household income groups in Malaysia (B40) and disadvantaged communities at large.
