François Awounkeu is an environmental specialist currently employed at Cuso International’s country representative in Cameroon. He is passionate about rural development. Over the last 23 years, he has contributed to designing and implementing many projects and programmes in Africa. Under his leadership and with the contribution of international, national, and online volunteers, Cuso International’s SHARE volunteer cooperation programme has impacted many communities in Cameroon. François’s keen interest in innovation has contributed to the implementation of Techwoman Factory, a project that improves the skills of young Cameroonian women in the area of business, technology, and data science. François has also led many other projects targeting the most urgent needs in Cameroon.
