A passionate advocate for youth volunteering, Desmond has partnered with Singapore International Foundation (SIF) on initiatives such as ‘Words on Wheels’, an innovative online volunteering session, and the ‘Water for Life’ overseas volunteering program in Siem Reap, Cambodia. His dedication is underscored by his participation in ‘Water for Life’ on more than five occasions and his leadership in guiding at least 60 ITE students in volunteering activities. Desmond firmly believes that youth volunteering offers unparalleled opportunities for personal and professional development, nurturing character and instilling crucial social skills in young individuals. His commitment to empowering the youth to become compassionate, responsible, and socially conscious leaders is an inspiration to all striving for positive change on a global scale.
